These prompts are related to @Timebug’s Pillar 3 but different for a number of reasons – we don’t just work for money; we work for purpose and self-discovery. In some cultures, people are encouraged to change careers multiple times in different eras of their lives, so as to broaden their horizons and not get over-identified with a particular role. Your job is not who you are, but it can be a key pillar in shaping who you are, hopefully in alignment with who you were meant to be.
Two new features were added to the 1 Page Printable today, which I intend to keep in going forward:
1. “The Map” showing all 7 Pillars at the bottom, like a good navigation menu, reminding us that it is All connected. I encourage us to always put the current Pillar in context of all the others, to see how they cross-pollinate.
2. The “critique” from others. Try to be objective and write down what others who work closely with you (ie. your boss, co-worker, business partner) would say about you as a co-worker or partner, if they were being totally honest.
Tomorrow we will go 2-for-1, to catch up and have 12/31/25 be the day where we publish the 7th (and most important) Pillar, Spirituality – the true All in One.
